Welcome to VetDIY. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the VetDIY waitlist (the "Service"), operated by VetDIY ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing this site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About VetDIY

VetDIY is building a home-services marketplace that connects homeowners with U.S. military Veteran contractors. This website currently offers a pre-launch waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not create any account, purchase, contract, or guarantee of future service, pricing, availability, or position.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By joining the waitlist you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are signing up on your own behalf.

3. The waitlist

The waitlist lets you register interest and, optionally, refer others. Any counters, positions, points, or referral figures shown are estimates for engagement purposes and may not reflect a precise or final ranking. We may change, pause, or discontinue the waitlist or any feature at any time without liability.

4. Your submission and communications

When you join, you provide information such as your email and (optionally) your role, trade, location, and referral details. We use it to operate the waitlist and to email you about VetDIY's launch, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in each message. Standard message rates may apply to any SMS you opt into.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: submitting false information; attempting to manipulate counters, positions, or referral rewards; using automated means to sign up or farm referrals; interfering with the Service's operation or security; or violating any applicable law.

6. Veteran verification (future service)

When the VetDIY app launches, contractors who wish to display a "Veteran" or "Verified" status will be required to complete identity and Veteran-status verification through a third-party provider. Any optional background-check "Verified" badge is a separate, opt-in service. Nothing on this waitlist site verifies any person's status today.

7. Intellectual property

The VetDIY name, logo, site content, and design are owned by VetDIY and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any launch will occur on any particular timeline.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetDIY and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which VetDIY is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts or via the dispute process designated by VetDIY at the time of the app's launch.
